- An Etruscan inspired horse taken directly from excavations near the Italian town of Volterra that is close to an ancient Etruscan civilization dating back to 800 BC and pre-dating the Egyptian and Roman empires. This horse is a classic example of a statue that apparently was broken at some point, yet remained important enough for admiration while still missing its legs. Finished in a beautiful wax relief glazing technique of gold. Shown as a set, but sold separately.
